After
the defeats of the 20th century, we have seen a process
of disintegration of proletarian politics. Genuine Marxists
must engage in a process of recomposition. Above all, the
left needs a rigorous approach to theory, an attempt to
rearticulate communism as a viable alternative to a global
capitalism in terminal decline. We call on all serious partisans
of the working class to join us in this work.

Russian socialist Boris Kagarlitsky comments.

"It is one of the best political documents based on Marxist historical materialism that I've read in quite some time - if ever. ... As a non-Party-not-anti-Party, Trotskyite sympathizer, I found Fantastic reality ... to be intellectually challenging ... an absolute must read for Marxists, socialists & atheists."

Weekly Worker 720 (May 8 2008)
Over the last few decades, and
especially after the invasion and
occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, political islam has been on the rise - not only in islamic countries, but also amongst muslims in the west.
