DisappointingOur May fund has fallen well short of the £400 target. Despite a last-minute flurry of late donations, the total was well down at £308. This is particularly disappointing, following the success I announced a month ago. The achievement of (just under) the full £3,000 during our special appeal has enabled us to tackle the urgent upgrading of our computers, but shortfalls in our regular monthly fighting fund inevitably mean digging into our meagre reserves, delaying other necessary changes or skimping on quality - not a happy choice. Thanks to comrades JG (£25), LP (£20), TF (£15), DG and SD (£10 each). Your gifts at least took us to somewhere near a respectable total. Robbie Rix |
