Good startAfter last month's disappointing shortfall, July's fighting fund has got off to a good start with an excellent £50 donation from comrade HR. He writes: "Having just received an unexpected tax rebate, I thought I'd better make the most of it - it just so happens I was feeling rather guilty, as I haven't given anything since January." The comrade matches his gift to the Weekly Worker with another £50 towards the CPGB's Summer Offensive. Comrade JG sends in a more modest, but very much appreciated, £10. However, she asks for a standing order form, promising to make this a regular donation from September. It's in the post, comrade! Despite the onset of the holiday season the first week of July has proved to be a good one - £96 in the bag. But we need to keep up the momentum in order to reach our full £400 target.
