CommitmentAmongst my mail this week was one item which contained some very good news - our bank statement which shows that no less than £163 has been paid directly into our account this week. This sum has been donated by readers who demonstrate their practical appreciation and commitment by making regular payments by standing order. Pride of place among them is MM for his £60, but we must also thank comrades HP, DO, EK, TD and AC - while not forgetting our comrades in the RDG. In addition my postbag also contained two cheques from DG (£45 in total), together with £15 from TR and £5 from DC. This takes our October fund up to a very healthy £288 towards our monthly £400 target. This month we will make up the summer shortfall. If our readers play their part, that is.
