Out of the red

Excellent news to take us into our November fighting fund campaign. Not only was October's £400 target taken apart, but we came within a whisker of making up our entire summer deficit.

The last seven days saw an extra £115 land in my in-tray, taking the final total for last month up to £552. This reduces our shortfall for the year to just £8 - neither here nor there. Now we are out of the red (almost), let's push on and see how big we can make our surplus for November!

Special mention this week goes to comrade DG for his two cheques amounting to £45. Thanks also to TI and GJ (£20 each), not forgetting PC for returning his standing order form pledging £10 per month. Speaking of which, for those comrades who really want to firm up their commitment, what better and more convenient way of doing so? Any more offers?
