With a bangThe final fund of 2000 has got off to a bit of a slow start. Just £40 has come in after the first week. Thank you, comrades PC, MN, DW and RF. Last month we moved into the black for the first time this year, finishing November with the princely sum of £7 to the good. Let's now see if we can end this millennium year with a bang. We should aim not just to maintain that tiny surplus, but to go into 2001 with at least £100 in the bank over and above our monthly £400 target. This will not be easy, since the holiday period is almost upon us. Unless comrades make their donations to the paper an immediate priority, the vagaries of the post may mean that we do not receive your gifts until January. Please send them in this week. The last Weekly Worker of 2000 is just two issues away. Make sure neither you nor your paper are caught out.
