Things you can doWith less than a week to go before the end of February our £400 monthly target seems ever more elusive. It appears that too many readers have again lapsed into the habit of relying on others to fill up the Weekly Worker's coffers. Such an approach is reminiscent of the many letters we receive that praise our fight for Partyism, but are strangely silent on how the authors themselves can actually further that struggle. Comrades, our monthly target is vital for the success and influence of the Weekly Worker to be recreated at a higher level during the forthcoming general election. Don't think that someone else will fill the breach. Think about what you can do before the start of March. Our total now stands at a modest £207. Thanks this week to FG, MB, TR and GP for their gifts. Robbie Rix Ask for a bankers order form, or send cheques, payable to Weekly Worker, BCM Box 928, London WC1N 3XX |
