No complacency

Our March fund has been boosted by a couple of useful donations that will hopefully go some way towards making up the sizeable deficit we suffered in February. Comrade PM has sent us gifts totalling £30, while comrade SL has come up with a splendid £50. With a little help also from KP, BV and SW, our total has now climbed to £229.

With half of the month still to go, this gives me confidence that we can eat into last month's shortfall of over £150. But there is no time for complacency: we need comrades to treat this matter with some urgency. The Weekly Worker is read by scores of Socialist Alliance activists every week - last weekend's Birmingham conference was a good example, as sales of the paper demonstrated.

We must ensure that it not only continues to get into the hands of SA activists, but that the quality of our coverage improves steadily. And for that we need hard cash. If you value the Weekly Worker's role, please make sure that we get it.
