Play your part

This month continues to be a bit slow. Our fund is barely moving, with only £65 raised this week. That takes our total to just £313, with only seven days to go to meet our £450 target.

That means we really do need a concerted effort for the final week. To drop below requirements for a third time this year would leave us skating on thin ice - and at a time when we have committed ourselves to a bigger paper in order to boost the general election campaign of the Socialist Alliance/Scottish Socialist Party.

So the effect of your donation stretches beyond the Weekly Worker. It can also impact on the political forces we are trying to influence - not least those forces currently in the process of uniting in what, logically, must lead to a Socialist Alliance party.

Play your part in helping to mould the party we need. That’s what comrades LB, CF, DD and SZ did this week - thanks to all.
