Chicken and egg

Many comrades in the Socialist Alliance leadership say that a paper is beyond our means, Rob Hoveman, SA vice chair, amongst them. Nonsense. It is not a chicken and egg situation. As readers of the Weekly Worker show every month if the paper is there, the money can be raised.

Again this week we have had a good response to our fighting fund. The political temperature is rising. We are pleased to say that your generosity has increased with it.

Thanks to comrades BB (£20), GF and JK (£15 each), LP and TD (£10 each) and PM (£4). This brings the total - with one week to go - to £382.50. Seeing how our monthly target is £450, we are well on the way to reaching, and exceeding, our target.
