Real thing
As I pointed out last week, at the moment we are finding it difficult
to meet our running costs because of both a drop in donations and a lull
in new subscriptions over recent weeks.
There are two things readers can do to help ease the difficulties we
encounter from time to time. Firstly, if you are an occasional buyer or
read us on the net, take out an annual subscription. A comparatively small
number would ease our cash-flow problem substantially - and ensure you
have a copy of the Weekly Worker to hand for more convenient reading
and future reference. There is nothing like the real thing. Secondly,
why not take out a monthly standing order, big or small, giving us a more
reliable and regular source of income?
Comrades PO (£20), SD (£15) and PG (£10) did their bit this week, taking
our total up to £240 - but in the remaining two weeks we need a real push
to take us well beyond our monthly target of £450. Comrades, we urgently
need your help in overcoming the deficit we have built up earlier in the
year.
