Weekly Worker 471 Thursday March 13 2003 Stop the warPull out all the stops
It was felt that we must pull out all the stops, as war could be declared very soon. Actions agreed included approaching the schools, supporting trade unionists, street stalls, bicycling, and ‘die-ins’. Agreement was reached that we assemble outside Hackney town hall at noon on the day war breaks. We agreed a motion to put to the People’s Assembly, but the majority were against the use of the word ‘delegates’, so we were sent as ‘people from Hackney’. Phil Kent |
