In the lurch
We ended Marchs fund
with a deficit of £104 and desperately need to make good
the shortfall in April. However, theres not much sign
of the post-Easter spurt I was hoping for, with this weeks
mail bringing in just £65. Thanks go to BV (£25),
CT (£20), DA and TY (£10 each).
But I was also pleased to receive a very generous standing order
donation from comrade RW - in addition to forking out his £25
for another six months subscription, he has committed
himself to £30 a quarter on top. Very much appreciated,
comrade. Nevertheless, we need to go some to raise not only
this months £500, but also the missing £104
from March. Once again, there were no web donors this week -
despite a very healthy total of 13,780 online readers. Come
on, comrades, dont leave us in the lurch!
To help us get there I have set myself the target of persuading
10 readers to make a donation via the website before the end
of the month. I am also aiming to pick up at least five new
£10-a-month standing orders from comrades with just a
little bit of cash to spare. Whos first?
Robbie Rix
We particularly
need standing orders to allow us to plan ahead in this fluid political
situation. Click
